Trace yourself!

Take a picture of you and some tracing paper. Trace your features. You may trace another persons’s features on the same paper. Make it funny or make it beautiful.

This is a riff on the assignment.

I wanted to see if I could tell a story around the “tracing” idea, so I used Bazaart as a canvas to collage the story of an artist tracing a Mexican Day of the Dead skull.

Superimposed is the face of a lost love.

That scene is over another “memory panel” of him walking away from her, so whatever regrets he has, he earned.

Unabashedly romantic–it must be Getaway Friday!
